A DUCT LEAKAGE TEST We can easily determine if leaky ductwork is contributing to comfort problems and high utility bills in your home. Our specially trained technician will evaluate your duct system for leaks using newly developed testing equipment. We can then show you any problems found and also provide you with an estimate to seal your duct system. After making the recommended repairs, we will re-test to ensure that your cooling and heating system is operating at peak performance. Note: You are under absolutely no obligation to have our service department perform any of the repairs recommended by the Duct Leakage Test. Duct Blaster: The Duct Blaster is used to pressure test your duct system for air leaks, much the same way a plumber pressure tests your water pipes for leaks. After temporarily sealing the registers and grilles, the Duct Blaster fan is connect to the duct system to force air through al the holes and cracks in the ductwork. A precise leakage measurement is then made using the airflow and pressure monitor connected to the Duct Blaster system. |
